Kenya Peaberry Mt. Elgon
Journey to the slopes of Mt. Elgon and experience the adventure of this coffee journey. Grown in Kenya’s Bungoma region, this coffee exemplifies a complex experience for tasting: starting with juicy bursts of hibiscus, mango, and passionfruit and cooling to wonderfully smooth cacao nibs and brown sugar.
The Menu Factory that produced this coffee is a collective of farmers living on the steep landscape of Mt. Elgon. Reaching over 10,000 feet, this mountain provides a variety of farming opportunities and rich volcanic soil. We find these beans to brew exceptionally well in pourover form - Chemex and V60.
Notes: Hibiscus, pineapple, cacao nibs, brown sugar
Process: Washed
Roast: Medium-Dark
Altitude: 1800-1900 m
